Rainbow Tots is an independent playgroup run by parents and carers who live in and around The Hague. We welcome any parents/carers and children (from birth to around 4 years) who want to get together with like-minded adults and children for free play, conversation and coffee! We are a very international group, but the common language is English.
Everyone is welcome!
The group is run by volunteers, and a committee has been set up to help oversee the day-to-day running of the group as well as to help organise special events and celebrations. We are always looking for new members, so if you're interested in helping to shape the group, please let us know!
We meet on Tuesdays throughout the year from 9.45am to 11.15am in the hall of the Church of St John and St Philip (Ary van der Spuyweg 1, The Hague).
We offer a variety of toys, puzzles, books and games including ride-ons and soft play equipment, and from time to time have craft activities and special celebrations (Easter, Christmas, Halloween etc.). Each session ends with a sing-a-long of popular nursery rhymes and we ask everyone to help tidy up the toys and equipment. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided for adults, and fruit, crackers and juice for the children.
Entry is 6€ per family per session. As the playgroup is run by volunteers, the entry fee simply covers the cost of hall hire and refreshments, and contributes to ad-hoc costs such as new toys, cleaning and special events.
